Briagolong Quarry Reserve

Briagolong Quarry Reserve Camping Area - Low Cost Camping

The Quarry Reserve Campground is located on the Freestone Creek approximately 4 kilometres from the township of Briagolong just before the Briagolong State Forest. The Reserve is popular for camping and includes two swimming holes on the Freestone Creek. Pathways within the Reserve and down to Freestone Creek are able to be accessed by those with mobility issues, however the areas to the swimming holes along the creek would require assistance. Parking within the Reserve is well marked and close to the toilets.

There is a children's playground which is also fully accessible with designated parking and soft fall material under all play equipment. The Reserve also has a pavilion and covered shelter, seating and two long drop toilets. There are approximately 18 large non powered camping sites each with their own individual firepits. Camping bookings are not taken and the Reserve operates on a first in basis.

 Dogs are permitted and expected to be kept under effective control at all times. There is no trail or mini-bike usage within the Reserve. Garbage bins are provided on site for use by campers. There is also a 10pm noise curfew which includes music. Generators can be used for limited periods between the hours of 10am to 4pm.
